چکیده
This paper proposes the solution concept of interim correlated rationalizability, and shows that all types that have the same hierarchies of beliefs have the same set of interim correlated rationalizable outcomes. This solution concept characterizes common certainty of rationality in the universal type space. Pairwise Epistemic Conditions for Correlated Rationalizability1
We provide a foundation for correlated rationalizability by means of pairwise epistemic conditions imposed only on some pairs of players. Indeed, we show that pairwise mutual belief, for some pairs of players, of (i) the game payoffs, (ii) rationality, and (iii) deeming possible only strategy profiles that receive positive probability by the actual conjectures suffice for correlated rationaliza...

This solution concept characterizes common certainty of rationality in the universal type space.
متن کاملInteractive Epistemology and Solution Concepts for Games with Asymmetric Information
We use an interactive epistemology framework to provide a systematic analysis of some solution concepts for games with asymmetric information. We characterize solution concepts using expressible epistemic assumptions, represented as events in the canonical space generated by primitive uncertainty about the payoff relevant state, payoff irrelevant information, and actions. In most of the paper, ...
متن کاملInterim partially correlated rationalizability
We formalize a solution concept called interim partially correlated rationalizability (IPCR), which was implicitly discussed in both Ely and Peski (2006) and Dekel et al. (2007). IPCR allows for interim correlations, i.e., correlations that depend on opponents’ types but not on the state of nature. As a direct extension of Ely and Peski’s main result, we show that hierarchies of beliefs over co...
متن کاملCorrelated equilibria, incomplete information and coalitional deviations
This paper proposes new concepts of strong and coalition-proof correlated equilibria where agents form coalitions at the interim stage and share information about their recommendations in a credible way. When players deviate at the interim stage, coalition-proof correlated equilibria may fail to exist for two-player games. However, coalitionproof correlated equilibria always exist in dominance-...
